Hebrews 7:2-4

2 and Abraham gave him a tenth of everything.[a] First, Melchizedek means “king of righteousness,” and then “king of Salem,” which is “king of peace.” 3 He is without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, and resembling the Son of God, he remains a priest forever.

4 Consider how great this man was. Even Abraham, the patriarch, gave him a tenth from the best of the spoils.
